On Friday 18th March 2022 we welcomed the Deputy Lieutenant of Kent, Mrs Kate Fenwick, the Mayor of Dover, Councillor Gordon Cowan, and the Mayor of Swale, Councilor Paul Stephen, to the Mill for a special presentation ceremony by the Wheels of Time group of local museums.
Crabble Corn Mill is just one of a group of 56 museums that subscribe to the scheme which aims to encourage young children and their families to visit participating museums and heritage sites to learn more about Kent’s vast and interesting history. For more pictures click the image above.
Crabble Corn Mill is participating in this initiative to promote the museums of Kent to a younger audiance. Wheels of Time is a partnership of around 53 museums and heritage sites in Kent developed to promote education in history and heritage among young children. This purpose is achieved by running a scheme to encourage children, between the ages of 5 and 11, to visit museums and heritage sites in Kent. Normal admission charges to the mill will apply.
