Dover has two railway stations. The main railway station is Dover Priory and is located not far from the town centre and about 2 miles (3.25 Km) from the Mill. The other is a small unmanned station at Kearsney and is about 1 mile (1.5 Km) from the Mill.

Trains arrive at Dover Priory from Charing Cross, via Waterloo East, Cannon Street, London Bridge and Ashford International and also from London Victoria via the Medway Towns and Canterbury East. This line also serves Kearsney. Timetables for train services can be found on the South Eastern Trains website.

The local bus services 90 and 91 stop in Lewisham Road (Crabble Lane) by the River Recreation Ground, the Mill is on the other side of the playing fields and can be accessed through them.

There is a taxi rank at the station entrance but it is not too arduous to walk from here to the Mill in about 30 minutes - see the walking route instructions.

From Kearsney station your options are somewhat limited.  Though a bus service operates from Kearsney it does not call at the railway station, and there is no taxi rank.  By the time you have walked to the bus terminus in Lewisham Road and waited for a bus you may as well walk - see the walking route instructions.
