Saturday 31st October 2020, 12:00 Noon to 6:00 p.m.

Children will be able to collect maps from Crabble Corn Mill for £1. They will also get a small gift.  Follow the trail around River Village and choose the best scarecrow or pumkin display.

Households wishing to display a scarecrow and/or pumpkin can register their property to be placed on the trail map by clicking HERE or call into the Mill to complete a form. Registration is free.  A prize will be given to the household with the best scarecrow or pumpkin display as voted for by the children.

With lockdown restrictions eased there will now be a River Garage Safari being held on Sunday 27th September between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.  Residents of the village who wish to participate this year can complete the form to book their garage with Crabble Corn Mill.  The mill is currently open between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, Monday to Thursday.  Registration costs £5.00 with all proceeds going to the Crabble Corn Mill Trust.  A booking form can be collected from the mill or can be downloaded HERE, printed, completed and returned to the mill with payment.

An additional eight pitches in the cottage gardens are now available - first come, first served.

We are limiting visits for your safety and these will need to be booked in advance on 01304 823292 during our normal working hours.

  • Monday to Thursday at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., Midday, 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. only.
  • Groups of up to six people from the same household group.
  • Self-guided tours only - see admission prices to the left.
  • Visitors will be required to complete a Track & Trace form.

Owing to a higher than usual demand for our stoneground wholemeal flour over the past few months we have had to source additional grain.  1st of July saw the delivery from East Valley Farm at St. Margarets-at-Cliffe.  Although expected, the method of delivery caused us a bit of a shock. We're used to trucks arriving in the yard but not a huge tractor and trailer.

Festival Sponsors

Wheels of Time

Crabble Corn Mill is participating in this initiative to promote the museums of Kent to a younger audiance.
Wheels of Time is a partnership of museums and heritage sites in Kent developed to promote education in history and heritage among young children.
This purpose is achieved by running a scheme to encourage children, between the ages of 5 and 11, to visit museums and heritage sites in Kent.
Normal admission charges to the mill will apply.

Visit the Wheels of Time website to learn more about the scheme.
